SAFETY OF THE DENTAL AND SURGICAL PROCEDURES
Many of the dental and surgical procedures are carried-out in zones of the mouth with limited access and no direct view of the operatory area.
To ensure the best knowledge of the internal we use digital X-rays that give us instant high definition image ( no time wasted for processing, no chemicals spread into the environment, low radiation for the patient ). Being able to get the image immediately is very helpful in case of any doubt during a procedure, instead of going ahead, blindly, and putting the patient at risk of an error.
If you need a full mouth X-ray , OPG, is digital too (details) . With the same advantage of being instant ready, dramatically reduced amount of radiation for the patient, and environment friendly with no chemicals for processing.
When performing root canal therapy,
we priviledge the use of the electronic apex locator (details) which enables us to know with a 0.25mm accuracy the exact location of the apex of the tooth, and controls the progress of the tool inside the root canal and the torque applied on this tool to avoid fracture.
